Ionization: A Major Health Benefit
A residual bacterial protection in all of your plumbing lines similar to the Apollo spacecraft. The CL Free® System creates charged particles called ions. Mineral ions are safe and essential for humans, plants and animals, but are lethal to bacteria, algae, and some viruses. The mineral ions stop bacteria and algae from contaminating the dual media filter. Odors and tastes caused by bacteria will go away. A simple backwash valve will allow at least 5 years of residential life (1 million gallon rated) of your activated carbon. Replacement carbon can be obtained at nominal costs. No replacement plumbing required. This unit is portable and can be easily moved from one residence to another.
Disinfection of Water
Today's water treatment methods rely on chemical disinfectants to prevent water borne diseases from becoming epidemic health problems. Chlorination (the primary water treatment chemical) has shown its ability to control the many water borne infectious diseases such as cholera, typhus and dysentery which could other wise run rampant. Since its introduction into water treatment, chlorination has become almost the sole method used for active disinfection of water. This predominant position has been gained because of the recognized potency and acceptance of chlorine as a germicide by public health authorities. To meet requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act, an increasing number of water utilities nationwide are switching to ozone as a primary disinfectant. This trend has clearly accelerated since the Cryptosporidium scare in Milwaukee. The new awareness of the environmental and human health concerns on the use of chlorine will require state health agencies to rethink and restrain the use of chlorine, bromine and other halogens for all forms of water treatment. How the System Works

The CL Free Digital Standard Pool System has two components, A FLOW CHAMBER and the Digital Controller.
The Controller Converts 120V A/C into Low Voltage D/C (like a radio battery). The low volt D/C current is sent to a set of TITANIUM / PLATINUM ALLOY plates that are in the Flow Chamber.
When the Pool water touches these Titanium / Platinum plates we get the actual electro-physical separation of water molecule (H2o into H2-O). This separation forms free oxygen atoms and
hydroxyl (OH). This process is called Oxidation. The OXYGEN takes the place of Chlorine as the sanitizer and Burns up the Viral and Bacterial contaminates in your pool.
Unlike Silver / Copper Type Ionizers, OUR SYSTEM IS A CHLORINE ELIMINATION SYSTEM NOT A REDUCTION SYSTEM.

After the water molecule is split By the Titanium / Platinum plates it then passes over a set of Hard Copper Alloy plates. These plates are charged with a similar low volt D.C. current. While in this mode, positively charged Copper ions are released. This process is called Copper Ionization.
Copper ionization is the most effective form of algae and fungal control available on the market today.
The copper ions are kept at a very low .5 to .7 parts per million. This amount of copper is less than 25% of the E.P.A. required intake recommended daily. You could actually drink up to two gallons of your pool water every day and you would have no more Copper intake that a common multi-vitamin.
The Computer will only release copper ions for ONE hour each day, when your pool pump starts, based on the power level you pick. The power level is determined by the size of your pool (Gallons).
